Samsung launched Galaxy S24 Series in January 2024 wherein the brand focused on Galaxy AI for its devices. Now, after almost two months since the launch of the Galaxy S24 Series, the details about Samsung Galaxy S25 Series smartphones have started surfacing online. Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will include three devices- Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Let us have a look what we have heard so far.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Fastest storage speed

Samsung Semiconductor recently shared a roadmap that details the plans for the next generation of Universal Flash Storage solutions, which gives first hint towards what the new Galaxy S25 Series will bring. Samsung believes storage speed is a very important component that often goes unnoticed. The higher the storage speed, the faster will be the data transfers and downloads on your device. A report by SamMobile claims that Samsung intends to launch UFS 4.0 4-lane CS next year before it launches UFS 5.0 in 2027.

While the latest Samsung smartphones work on UFS 4.0 storage that offers 4GB/s read/write speeds, the UFS 4.4 4-Lane will double this speed to 8GB/s. Given the production timeline of Samsung, the Galaxy S25 Series might be the first to get UFS 4.0 4lane storage. UFS 5.0 is expected in 2027 with speeds of up to 10GB/s.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series smartphones are also tipped to have a refreshed design language and offer a Sony camera sensor for the Galaxy S25+ model.
