Samsung is all set to host its second big event of the year very soon. The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event will take place on July 10 wherein the brand will not only introduce next generation foldables- Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 but also be adding new Galaxy AI features, launching Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and much more. Samsung is also planning to expand its wearable lineup this summer. This is because the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 lineup will be rolled out in July 2024.
Samsung first showcased its Galaxy Ring during the MWC 2024 but it was sealed inside a case and was available for viewing only. Now, the brand will launch this new wearable during the Unpacked event.
Not only this, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 lineup is also expected to expand this time as there will be an addition of a new family member.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra to be added?

Samsung is planning to expand its wearable lineup and as a part of its plans, it will bring new Premium Smartwatches to the market. A report by Forbes claims that Samsung will strengthen the Galaxy ecosystem through new models and form factors that include the Galaxy Ring and new smartwatches.

Various media reports claim that Samsung is all set to launch not one or two but three models of smartwatches this time in the Galaxy Watch 7 Series. These will include Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, and now Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra/Pro. The Ultra/Pro version will be the most premium smartwatch by the brand with top-notch features and high-end design language.
The new smartwatch is expected to pack a 578mAh battery along with various other technological innovations.

Earlier some reports also hinted about Samsung working on an affordable Galaxy Watch FE version where FE stands for Fan Edition. Samsung hasn’t confirmed what its exact plans are for July 2024, so all this has to be taken with a pinch of salt as of now.
Samsung always has stiff competition going on with Apple and thus if Samsung is planning to venture into a premium smartwatch segment, Apple has been working on Smart Rings to give a tough fight to Galaxy Rings. While Samsung will announce its new products during the July 2024 Unpacked event, Apple will roll out its new hardware products alongside the iPhone 16 series in September.
