Samsung India has officially unveiled the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner with 5 Motion Wind, it’s most feature-laden AC yet for the market. Arriving as the company marks 30 years in India, the new model is priced at Rs. 66,990 and is available on the company’s official website (along with other select retail outlets).
Before we start discussing the features, it’s worth noting that both the 5.10 kW (AR70H19D13W) and the 4.75 kW (AR70H18D13W) capacity versions are listed for the same retail price — Rs. 69,990 — on the official website.

What Does “AI Cooling” Actually Do Here?

It is positioned squarely at buyers who want a premium, tech-forward cooling solution for medium to large living spaces.
The centerpiece of the new AC is the 5 Motion Wind technology. Combining two different cooling modes — Max Wind for rapid temperature drop and Surround Wind for even and consistent distribution — the AC also features a Motion Blade design for real-time adjustments to the direction and intensity of airflow.
Then there’s the AI Fast & Comfort Cooling system, which analyses the room temperature, humidity, and room size, and automatically selects the most suitable cooling mode. Instead of maintaining a set temperature, the AC should effectively be reading and responding to its environment.

WindFree Cooling, meanwhile, disperses air through 23,000 micro-holes to eliminate direct drafts entirely. I personally like a mild draft of cool air on me, but yes, stronger drafts (especially when the AC is working at maximum capacity) could get uncomfortable, and that’s where the WindFree technology comes in.

How Deep Does Samsung’s Smart Integration Go?
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner is compatible with both the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Ring, which enables a unique feature called Welciome Cooling. It automatically adjusts the temperature based on your presence. Further, there’s Away Care, which manages the AC’s settings when you leave the room.

Samsung also provides a new Map View feature, which lets you monitor the real-time airflow and temperature distribution across the room. Finally, you also get voice assistant support, which enables full hands-free control.
The AI Energy Mode, as on Samsung’s other Bespoke AI appliances, promises up to 30% energy savings. As seen in the pictures, the AC comes with a 3-star energy efficiency rating. The remote control that you get with the AC supports dual charging: via sunlight or via USB-C. Rounding out the package with air purification and hygiene maintenance features.

Smartprix’s Take…

The Indian premium AC segment is growing rapidly, driven by worsening summers and rising disposable incomes (along with the ease of getting unsecured loans for such appliances). Even though the Samsung Bespoke AI WindFree Pro positions itself at the intersection of climate control and smart home, at Rs. 66,990, the AC is priced at nearly double what a well-specced inverter AC from competing brands costs in the country.
Several of its standout features, including Welcome Cooling, Away Care, and presence-based temperature automation, work best when paired with a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, devices that are quite pricey themselves. Hence, despite all the AI features, the AC isn’t best suited for buyers outside of the Samsung ecosystem. For those who already have a running ecosystem, consisting of a Samsung Galaxy phone, watch, and the ring, it’s a no-brainer.
