Samsung Frame TV 2020 and 7 more SmartTVs Launched

Samsung seems on the war foot with the launch of a range of Smart TVs including to prevent its leadership position in the Television segment. The South Korean brand also launched the Samsung Frame TV 2020 edition in three sizes. With this launch, Samsung will hope to take competition it faces from Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, and Nokia.

Samsung Frame TV Features

The Samsung Frame TV range features QLED display crafted with Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology. These 4k TVs come with HDR 10+ support. The new Frame TV come includes ambient sensor which helps in adjusting screen lighting as per the room’s surroundings. The Frame TV can adjust its volume and clarity using Active Voice Amplifier that enables to differentiate between noise and intended voices.

Samsung and expanded its Art Mode with over 1200 frames in collaboration with stores around the globe. The Frame TV has an Art Mode which allows use as a picture frame in stand by mode.

The Samsung Frame TV supports Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant to control TV functions with voices. The AirPlay 2 support lets Apple users to stream content with their devices and offers Apple TV App.

Samsung Smart TVs Features

Apart from Frame TVs, Samsung has also launched a range of Smart TVs starting from HD-ready sets to full-HD TVs. These SmartTVs will support almost all popular OTT platforms in India including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5, SonyLIV, VOOT, and many more. . Like the Samsung Frame TV, these smart TVs will also have Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant voice assistant on board.

Keeping the expectation of millennials, Samsung claims to offer a game mode for a lag-free high-quality gaming experience. The PC mode allows transforming the TV into a personal computer.

Samsung smart TVs connect with authenticated smartphones to automatically transfer pictures and videos to view on a larger screen. Samsung distinguishes this to call it a Home Cloud feature. Auto Hotspot and Live Cast are among other features to be considered for smartphones.

Samsung Frame TV and Samsung Smart TVs Price and Availability

The Samsung Frame TV 2020 edition comes in three variants. The base model of Frame TV has 50-inch screen and it costs Rs 74,990. The 55-inch Frame TV is priced at Rs 84,990, and the top of the line 65-inch Frame TV is offered at Rs 1,39,990. For these new Frame TVs, Samsung is offering one-year comprehensive warranty and a two-year screen panel warranty. There’s is also 10-year warranty on burn-in issue. The new Frame TV will be available on Flipkart and online Samsung Shop starting from June 19.

Lower to the Frame TV, the Samsung HD-ready and full-HD TV models start from 32-inch sizes with a price of Rs 14,990 to the maximum size of 43-inch for Rs 31,990. Samsung’s 4K UHD TVs ship with 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes with the initial price of Rs 36,990. This range of TVs will be made available through Flipkart, Amazon, and Samsung Shop from June 19.
