The South Korean tech giant Samsung has started rolling out its Android 14-based One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S23 series in India. To download the update, users must register for the beta program on the Samsung Members app. However, it might be another month before the stable One UI 6 update rolls out for everyone. Here’s how to get the latest software update on your Galaxy S23 series smartphone.

One UI 6 Beta Now Available In India

A few weeks ago, Samsung shipped the One UI 6 beta for users in the United States, Germany, and South Korea. Now, it’s available in India and other countries like Poland and the United Kingdom. The first thing one will notice is the new serif font, better notification design, and a revamped Quick Settings section that looks like the one on stock Android phones.

Android 14 operating system

One UI 6 also improves the Camera app, including a separate menu for the megapixel count and aspect ratio, making the two settings independent. The iconography of the app has changed, and for good. Casting to Chromecast is also smoother in One UI 6. Other features include a new home screen for the Samsung Health app, an integrated trash folder in Gallery, etc. Moreover, One UI 6 offers a significant refinement over One UI 5.

Before we move on to the steps involved in downloading the beta version, it is essential to mention that they are less stable than the regular versions. As a precaution, users should back up their phones before downloading the One UI 6 beta.
