Samsung to soon launch affordable foldable smartphone; Oppo on the way to launch Find N2

It might be priced around Rs 61,000

The foldable smartphone market is increasing day by day. The main reason behind this is that multiple smartphone-producing companies are trying their hands on producing the same. As of now, the latest report by suggests that Samsung is all set to bring a Galaxy A Fold smartphone that will be an affordable device offering foldability features.

Considering the pricing trends, most of the foldable smartphones available in the market are available at a price range between Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,50,000. No doubt Samsung is the uncrowned king of the foldable smartphones market. Now, speculations are that Samsung will compete with flagships of OnePlus, iQoo, and other brands with a launch of affordable foldable phones in the market.

However, Samsung is not going to be the only company in the coming months that is planning to launch foldable smartphones that are affordable. Google and Apple are allegedly working on affordable foldable smartphones too. There has been no word on the pricing of the upcoming Samsung phone until now. Still, rumours have it that it will be priced somewhere around Rs 60,000.

What else is brewing on?

In a parallel piece of news, Oppo, after launching Oppo Find N foldable smartphone, is prepping up to launch two more foldable devices this year. Reports suggest that one of the devices is going to be the successor of Oppo Find N and the other one will be based on the clam-shell style case.

it is being said that the successor of Find N will be named Oppo Find N2. The smartphone will be light in weight as compared to its predecessor. The name of the smartphone has not been announced officially until now. It has the codename ‘Dragonfly’ possibly. high chances are that the handset will also get a 120Hz refresh rate.

Only a minimal amount of information regarding the same is available right now. Expectations are that we will get to know more about these upcoming foldable smartphones as soon as their launch inches closer.
