Over the last month, Sennheiser India has been active with its headphone launches. First, it launched the Accentum Plus wireless headphones, which cost Rs. 15,990. Then, it revealed the HD 490 and HD 490 Pro Plus for the professionals, with a premium price tag. Now, the company has unveiled the Accentum wireless headphones with ANC and a 50-hour battery life. Sennheiser Accentum Wireless headphones launched in India

The headphones have 37mm drivers, a frequency range of 10 Hz to 22 kHz, and a speaker sensitivity of 106 dB SPL. They also have an in-house transducer system, delivering crisp audio with deep bass and excellent highs. Users can customize the headphones with different sound modes, like Bass Boost and Podcast Mode. They can also tune the sound per their own preference with the help of the five-band equalizer provided by the Smart Control app.

To cancel out background noises, the Sennheiser Accentum feature hybrid adaptive ANC. Further, when users need to stay connected with their surroundings, the headphones have a Transparency Mode. Users can switch between these modes with the press of a button. Regarding buttons, Accentum don’t feature touch controls like the Accentum Plus. Another feature missing on the new headphones is the automatic wind protection mode that reduces wind noise during calls. Nonetheless, it still has two beamforming mics for noise reduction.

As mentioned on the official product page, the headphones last up to 50 hours on a single charge (with a built-in 800 mAh battery and medium volume levels), with noise cancellation. For a complete charge, the device takes about three hours. Further, with the fast charging technology, users can get about five hours of listening time in 10 minutes of charging the headphones via the USB-C socket. The company offers a two-year warranty on the product.

The device connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth v5.2. Further, it supports a variety of codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, mSBC, and CVSD. For a comfortable wearing experience, the headphones feature a lightweight and ergonomic design: the device weighs 222 grams. They feature soft-touch silicon-lined headbands that ensure a snug fit. Carrying the device around is easy, as it folds flat to save space in a backpack or a pouch. It is important to mention that Sennheiser doesn’t provide a carry case in the box.

The Accentum wireless headphones are available to pre-order in India till March 11 on the company’s official website. While the listed price of the headphones is Rs. 14,990, they are available to pre-order for Rs. 11,990. Buyers can choose from the black and white colors.
