After recently teasing the Momentum True Wireless 4, Sennheiser has finally launched the premium TWS earbuds in India. The device runs on the Qualcomm S5 Sound Gen 2 platform, features Bluetooth v5.4 for seamless connectivity, and has an IP54 rating. It offers the signature Sennheiser sound for around Rs. 25,000. Sound Quality
Out of the box, the earbuds come with 7mm dynamic drivers (with a frequency range of 5 Hz to 21 kHz) that deliver “exceptional sound fidelity.” With the TrueResponse transducer system, the earbuds offer a high-end sound experience with an impactful base and refined treble. Users also have the option to customize the sound signature as per their preference with preset profiles.
ANC And Transparency Mode
Like other premium TWS earphones in the segment, the Momentum 4 offers active noise cancellation. Thanks to the Qualcomm chip inside, the earbuds can adjust the noise cancellation based on ambient noise levels. There’s also a Transparency Mode, which allows users to stay aware of their surroundings. Each earbud comes with a three-microphone system to ensure clear call quality.
Battery Life
Regarding battery life, the earbuds can last up to 7.5 hours with ANC off and up to 7 hours with ANC on (on a single charge). The charging case allows users to expect up to 30 hours of overall music playtime. A quick charging feature provides an hour of listening time in about eight minutes of charging. Last but not least, the charging case supports Qi wireless charging.
Supported Codecs And Connectivity Options
The list of supported codecs includes SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive/Lossless, and LC3. Sennheiser also provides support for Auracast and LE Audio. The device features Bluetooth v5.4, ensuring a seamless connection with users’ smartphones. To control and manage the device, users can download the Smart Control app.
Additional Features
Other features of the Momentum True Wireless 4 include Sound Personalization, automatic pairing, intuitive touch-based controls, and multipoint connectivity. In the box, users get the earphones, four ear adapter sets, one USB-C charging cable, and one quick guide.
In terms of design, the Momentum True Wireless 4 features ergonomic built and soft silicon ear tips. The earbuds are available in three colors: Black Graphite, White Silver, and Black Copper.

While the maximum retail price of the Momentum True Wireless 4 is Rs. 29,999, the company offers a pre-order discount of Rs. 11,000. Hence, interested customers can pre-order the product for Rs. 18,990 through Senheisser’s official website and Amazon. The discount is applicable till May 1, 2024.
Oddly, the product wasn’t in stock on the company’s message. The checkout page displayed the message, “This product is in pre-order. Your order will be shipped after the date of release.” However, Amazon is providing one-day shipping at the time of writing this report.
