Sony BRAVIA XR 77A80J OLED and 85X85J with Google TV launched in India

Sony India announced today two large 4K HDR display televisions. The new 77A80J OLED BRAVIA XR is powered by the new Cognitive Processor XR, while the 85X85J LCD is powered by the X1TM Picture Processor. The Sony Bravia XR-77A80J has a 77-inch screen, while the Bravia KD-85X85J has an 85-inch screen. Additionally, both models offer HDMI 2.1 support, which means they offer 4K at 120Hz refresh rates. Both of these boast the best-in-class picture quality, 3D Surround Sound, gaming capabilities, and the newest Google TV software.

Sony Bravia XR-77A80J features

The Sony Bravia XR-77A80J is equipped with a 77-inch 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) OLED display, which is powered by the Cognitive Processor XR picture engine. XR upscaling, XR Triluminos Pro color enhancement, and HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision are all supported. XR Motion Clarity motion enhancer is also included. The Sony Bravia XR-77A80J delivers audio with two 20W and one 10W Acoustic Surface Audio+ speakers with support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS Digital Surround, and acoustic auto-calibration.

Sony’s Bravia TV model runs on Android TV and has 16GB of storage. A wide range of apps is supported in the Google Play store. There is also a Netflix Calibrated Mode on the Sony Bravia XR-77A80J, which is said to reproduce the same picture quality on a TV as it would on an evaluation master. The TV comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay support, four HDMI ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, three USB ports, and a headphone jack, among other features.

Sony Bravia KD-85X85J features

Sony’s Bravia KD-85X85J comes with an 85-inch 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) LCD display, which is powered by Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1. It features 4K X-Reality PRO clarity enhancement, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision support, and Motionflow XR 800 technology. The audio is handled by two 10W speakers with support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Digital Surround. It also runs on Android TV and has 16GB of RAM.

There are key connectivity features included with the Sony Bravia KD-85X85J, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, built-in Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, four HDMI ports, including an HDMI 2.0 port, two USB ports, and a headphone jack.

Pre-Booking, Price, and Availability:

Sony has also announced a pre-booking offer to make the purchase of BRAVIA XR 77A80J OLED TV more attractive for customers. Pre-booking the large-screen OLED TV between 11th August 2021 and 16th August 2021 will give customers a cashback of Rs 20,000/- along with a 2-year warranty.

Starting on 11th August 2021 to 16th August 2021, customers can get an inaugural cashback of Rs 20,000/- on select cards with the new 85X85J Google TV. The new large-screen televisions are available at Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), the ShopatSC.com portal, and major electronic retailers in India.
