Sony BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8 & Bar 9: Features

Sony Soundbars come with 360 spatial sound mapping that creates immersive audio with phantom speakers. This means there are no actual physical speakers on the sides or above, but still, 360 spatial sound experience optimized for your specific home setting with a wide sound field surrounding you with audio from various directions, similar to cinema halls. All this without installing any physical speakers on your walls or ceilings. Earlier both soundbar and rear speakers were needed to generate phantom speakers but with Bar 8 and Bar 9, consumers can enjoy 360 spatial sound mapping using a single soundbar. These two bars have more speaker units compared to their predecessors thus offering an even better experience.

The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8 and Bar 9 come with Sound Field Optimization that adjusts and tunes each speaker based on the layout of your room so that you can find the optimum location to place your system. The Bars are compatible with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio technology. The Bars are not only Dolby Atmos and DTS equipped but also have IMAX enhanced certification.

Acoustic Centre Sync can integrate your sound system like a soundbar with your Television so sound matches the action on screen precisely. Combining BRAVIA TVs and BRAVIA Theatre products, Acoustic Centre Sync fuses the sound of TV speakers and soundbars seamlessly.

There is also Voice Zoom3 AI-enhanced dialogue clarity tech which is a groundbreaking feature. It enhances dialogue clarity with unprecedented precision as it is powered by AI technology. It can recognize human dialogue through AI algorithms and amplifies or reduces volume ensuring the subtlest of dialogues are loud and clear. Settings for Voice Zoom3 when using these two Bars, can be done via the BRAVIA Connect app on BRAVIA TVs.
