Squid Game Season 3: Games Revealed
Squid Game Season 3 is about to premiere tomorrow, and the show is all about exciting games that the players will have to play to stay alive. While not confirmed, the trailer of the third season does allow us to predict which games will be seen in the upcoming season. Here are some games that will be seen in Season 3-

Red Light, Green Light (With a Twist)- The signature Red Light, Green Light will be back, but the stakes will be higher as a gigantic female doll will be joined by a new male doll named Cheoul-su. There will be a train-like signal as well. Cheoul-su and Young-hee together will make it harder for the players to dodge detection, as now they will have to deal with two dolls, and the threat level will increase twice.

Gumball Machine- This game will split the players into two teams- Red and Blue. All the players will be turned on the dial one by one, and if the machine dispenses a red ball, the player goes to a room assigned to the red team, and if it dispenses a blue ball, the player goes to the blue team. One team will get the knife while the other will get the keys. The team with the keys will have to find the door to unlock with the keys, while those with a knife will have to find and kill them before they let themselves out. The next round will see teams switching keys and knives.

Jump Rope- if the tug of war of Season 2 wasn’t enough, this time there is a narrow track with a female doll holding one end of the rope. Although it isn’t confirmed, most likely players will have to jump when the rope reaches their feet. Each player will have to cross the bridge without getting hit by the rope. If the rope touches them, they fall from a height and meet dark fates.

Lights Out- This unofficial game that takes place between mainstream games will be back. This gets many players killed at once and narrows down the number of competitors manifold

Squid Game- Squid Game took place as the finale game in season one when player 456 emerged as the winner after player 218 was eliminated. The trailer hasn’t teased a squid game in season 3, but it will be there as it makes sense for the show to end with ‘The Squid Game’. The director also confirmed a final squid game, which will be revealed when the show premieres. He said that, like every other game, the new game is also based on a childhood gam, but with a twist. The team is saving it as a surprise element for the release.

Squid Game Series: Plans for Season 4?
Recently, the cast of Squid Game Season 3 was seen at the Grand Ballroom Halla in Seoul Dragon City for a special event. While this was confirmed earlier that Season 3 will be the finale season of the show, some were speculating if Netflix might renew it for 4th season, considering the thunderous response.
During the event, Director Hwang Dong-hyuk addressed this question, and the answer is no for now. The director confirmed that there are no plans for a 4th season and the decision has been made after a mutual discussion with Netflix. However, he also asked fans not to lose hope, as he mentioned that exploring possible spin-offs rather than diving into another full season is a possibility.
“Once you watch the new season, you’ll see that Season 4 could be possible, but you might also feel like it doesn’t need to be made. That said, it’s not that I’ve ruled out returning to Squid Game forever. My next project is already taking shape in my mind as a film, so I don’t have any immediate plans to follow up Squid Game with another season. But if the opportunity arises, I’m open to doing a Spin-off.”
