A lot has happened in the tech world this week—launches, leaks, and some exciting announcements. OPPO is gearing up for the Find N5 launch, vivo and HONOR are embracing DeepSeek, and Samsung is experimenting with silicon-carbon batteries. Meanwhile, OnePlus is improving smartwatch battery life, and Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra is making waves ahead of its March debut. Let’s break it all down.

Launches

realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition was launched on February 13th in China. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Powerbeats Pro 2 has launched with heart rate monitoring and is made by Beats by Dre (owned by Apple).

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 has been announced, built on TSMC’s 4nm process with ARM v9 CPU cores, offering 11% better CPU performance, 29% better GPU performance, and 12% better power efficiency.
Lava ProWatch X has launched in India with a 60 Hz AMOLED screen, 10-day battery life, and a circular dial, priced at ₹4,499.

Upcoming Launches

realme P3 Pro will launch on February 18th with a glow-in-the-dark finish. It is essentially the realme 14 Pro+ with cameras from the realme 14 Pro. realme P3X will launch alongside the P3 Pro.

The OPPO Find N5 is launching on February 28th, with DeepSeek integration for China.

HONOR and vivo have also integrated DeepSeek AI assistant into their systems.

vivo T4X is launching soon with a 6,550 mAh battery and a Dimensity 7300 processor.

Google Pixel 9a cases have leaked, confirming the device’s design. It is expected to launch on March 19th.

OnePlus Watch 3 will launch on February 18th with an improved 5-day battery life in Smart Mode.

Apple CEO Tim Cook hinted at a new device, likely the iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16E, expected to feature the A18 chip and a design similar to the iPhone 14 with a single rear camera. The device will be launched on February 19th.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra global launch is officially set for March 2nd.

Leaks and Rumors

OPPO Find X8 Mini leaks reveal an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, Dimensity 9400 SoC, and a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED flat screen with a 1216 x 2640 resolution and thin bezels.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series could use silicon-carbon batteries, increasing battery capacity to 6,000 mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be lighter than the S25, weighing under 160 grams. We also revealed that the phone would be 5.85mm thick.

Samsung Galaxy A06 5G specifications have leaked, revealing a 6.7-inch 90 Hz screen. The device’s specs closely resemble the recently launched Galaxy F06’s specs.

iQOO Z10 Turbo and Z10 Turbo Pro leaks suggest they will remain China-exclusive. The Z10 Turbo will have a Dimensity 8400 SoC, while the Z10 Turbo Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both will have 7,000-7,500 mAh batteries.

OPPO Find X9 series is expected to include four models: Find X9, X9 Pro, X9 Plus, and X9 Ultra, all with flat screens.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has appeared on Geekbench, using the full 8-core version of Snapdragon 8 Elite. Scores are 2,806 (single-core) and 8,416 (multi-core), lower than expected.

Samsung Galaxy A56 renders have leaked, showing a unified triple-camera module.

HONOR 400, 400 Pro, and GT Pro chipset details have leaked. HONOR 400 will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (unannounced), HONOR 400 Pro will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Honor GT Pro will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite. These are expected to launch in Q2 or Q3 in China.

Samsung Galaxy A36 design has also leaked, similar to the A56. It will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 6.6-inch OLED display, 50 MP main camera, 5,000 mAh battery, and 45W fast charging.

iPhone SE 4 may start at 64 GB base storage with 8 GB RAM, according to a retailer listing in China.

Samsung may skip One UI 7.1 and jump directly to One UI 8, which is expected to arrive sooner than anticipated.

Updates

Alibaba is integrating DeepSeek AI into its services. Alibaba also claims its AI beats OpenAI and DeepSeek, though this is likely exaggerated. Apple will use Alibaba’s AI in China due to ChatGPT restrictions.

WhatsApp will soon display user roles next to names in group chats.

Google I/O 2025 will take place from May 20-21, overlapping with Microsoft’s Developer Conference.

Apple TV app is now available on Android phones and tablets, but does not support casting to TVs yet.

Samsung One UI 7 will not arrive until April or May, according to multiple sources.

Samsung has stated that Now Bar and Now Brief features will not be available on the Galaxy S24 and older models due to hardware limitations, though this claim is debated.

Nothing Phone (3a) series will use a Snapdragon chipset, though the exact model is unconfirmed.

A dual camera version of the Galaxy A25 has launched in Japan with One UI 7, and the Galaxy F06 (India) also ships with One UI 7 out of the box.

Google Android 16 Beta 2 is now rolling out as a public beta.
