Tecno Phantom X2 is all set to make a debut in the Dubai market. The announcement of the same was made in a webinar held in London and organized by Counterpoint Research. The series will probably consist of two smartphones, including Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro variants. Tecno has put a stamp on the fact that it will launch the Phantom X2 series on December 7.

According to the teaser, Tecno will offer enhanced image-capturing capabilities. These enhancements will be available in the form of multi-exposure and complex HDR shooting modes, which allow improved shooting experience in low-light conditions. It can be said that smartphones will give tough competition to other mid-rangers that are available in the market.

Tecno Phantom X2 series details

There is no solid information regarding the specifications and features of the upcoming Tecno Phantom X2 series. However, speculations are that the devices will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor consisting of a fast Cortex-X2 core at 3GHz, three A710 cores at 2.85GHz, and four power-efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. The processor of the smartphones will be based on the TSMC’s 4nm process node created to provide an enhanced performance along with ensuring lower power consumption.

As of now, there is a limited amount of information available regarding the upcoming smartphones by Tecno. Expectations are that we will get to know more about the device at the time of its launch. Considering that the price of its predecessor Phantom X is Rs 25,999, we can expect that the upcoming Tecno phones will be available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 30,000. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how the Indian audience reacts to a Tecno device priced more than Rs 30,000, keeping in mind that brands like OnePlus and Nothing are already ruling that price segment.
