Toshiba has unveiled its latest lineup of C450ME QLED TVs, offering 4K resolution and QLED technology at an attractive price point. Priced at just INR 26,999 for the base variant, the C450ME series is set to redefine the affordable premium TV segment in India. The Toshiba C450ME is the official TV of the Euro Cup 2024. Key Features
The Toshiba C450ME is available in three sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. All sizes have 60 Hz 4K QLED screens and a viewing angle of 178°. The TV has a bezel-less design at the top and sides, but there’s a chin at the bottom.
As for the display quality, Toshiba claims they use Quantum Dot Color technology for vibrant yet true-to-life colors. The TV also has AI 4K upscaling to enhance lower-resolution content. And, of course, there is support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Under the hood, Toshiba uses the REGZA Engine ZR chip to power the TV and facilitate AI upscaling. For audio, the TV has two speakers with a 24W speaker output and features like Regza Power Audio, Dolby Audio, Dolby Smart, and DTSX for an enhanced audio experience.
The TV also has a game mode with low latency and variable refresh rate support for gaming enthusiasts and the VIDAA voice assistant for easy content access.
As for I/O, the TV offers 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB ports, a headphone jack, and an Ethernet port. The TV also supports Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi for connectivity.
Price and Availability
The Toshiba C450ME will be available on sale on Amazon and Flipkart starting May 7th. The Toshiba 43C450ME will be available for INR 26,999, the Toshiba 50C450ME 50-inch model for INR 32,999, and the Toshiba 55C450ME 55-inch model for INR 37,999. Note that the 55-inch model will not be available on May 7th but “soon after.”
