At the SuperMotocross World Championship final on Saturday, September 23, Triumph made its debut showcasing a brand-new 250 cc motocross bike to the public. This unveiling took place at the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in California, where the motorcycle was ridden by the illustrious Ricky Carmichael, a ten-time MX and six-time Supercross champion. For those eager for more details, the full specifications of this exciting motorcycle are set to be unveiled on November 28, as per a social media announcement.

Triumph 250cc SuperMotocross

Prior to its public debut, Triumph had tantalized enthusiasts with a series of videos that offered glimpses into the motorcycle’s design, platform, powertrain, and additional features. The bike is propelled by an entirely new 250 cc single-cylinder engine, a versatile powerplant designed not only for this motocross model but also with the potential for application across various other motorcycle forms.

Triumph’s global off-road Ambassador, Ricky Carmichael, shared his insights about the motorcycle in a prior video, stating, “This engine has its own distinct character, and what stands out is the thoughtfulness in its design and development. It caters to a broad spectrum of rider abilities, offering a lightweight and compact build with power delivery that suits riders across the skill spectrum.”

“I’m so happy to finally show the fans what we’ve been working on for the past 4 years. The bike feels great, it looks great, and it’s fast. I’m really pleased with what we’ve delivered and I can’t wait until we can share the final details on November 28th,” he added further.
