TL; DR
- TVS has discontinued the Apache RTR 310’s Top variant and merged its quickshifter into the Base variant.
- New Base pricing with quickshifter starts at Rs 2.47 lakh, depending on color.
- Sepang Blue, once BTO-exclusive, is now available on the standard Base trim.
TVS has rejigged the Apache RTR 310’s variant structure for 2026. To me, the changes look like the company finally listened to a year’s worth of buyer complaints and requests about a feature gap that never made sense.

What Actually Changed Across The Lineup
When this motorcycle launched, the base variant commanded a price tag of ₹ 2.4 lakh, while the Top added a quickshifter for ₹2.57 lakh. The two BTO Dynamic Kit variants sat above that. After GST 2.0 reforms, pricing reset lower, and the company discontinued the Top variant entirely.
The simplified lineup consists of two Base variants: one without a quickshifter and a new ‘Base’ trim that finally gets one. For those catching up, a quickshifter is an electronic performance feature that lets you shift gears without using the clutch lever or backing off the throttle. This results in faster acceleration, reduced fatigue on long rides, and improved stability.

| Base (with quickshifter) | Sepang Blue | ₹2.57 lakh |
| Anniversary Edition | — | ₹2.97 lakh |
The Color Story Worth Noting
Sepang Blue used to be locked behind the pricier BTO variants before this rejig. However, now it’s available on the Base variant as well, for a ₹10,000 premium over Arsenal Black or Fury Yellow. Mechanically, though, nothing else changes. The 312.2cc reverse-inclined engine still makes 35.6 PS and 28.7 Nm through a 6-speed box.

You also get cruise control, 6D IMU, cornering ABS, and launch control carrying over as before. I think removing the Top variant and distributing its only advantage into the Base was the right call. Charging additional money purely for a quickshifter in 2026 felt like too much to ask.
