Vivo iQOO Z1 with Dimensity 1000+ & 144Hz Display Goes Official

iQOO, the Vivo sub-brand has unveiled ‘Z1’ a new gaming handset sporting top-shelf specs. This includes the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+, a 144Hz panel upfront, and a 44W fast charger amongst other things.

iQOO Z1 Highlights

Starting with the face, you get a 6.57″ Full-HD+ LCD panel with a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz. In the top right cranny lies a 16MP selfie snapper.

Swivel to the back and there you have a 48MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro lens.

The Z1 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC clubbed with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The software interface is IQOO UI based on Android 10.

The phone also features 5G (dual-mode), Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 6, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. A 4500mAh battery keeps the phone alive, backed by a 44W fast charger.

iQOO Z1 Price and Availability

The phone is currently launched in China at a starting price of 2,198 yuan (~Rs. 23,399) for the 6GB+128GB variant. Then, there is the 8+128GB model at 2,498 yuan (~Rs. 26,599) and lastly the 8+256GB variant at 2,798 yuan (~Rs. 29,799). It is available in Space Blue and Galaxy Silver colors.

Vivo hasn’t announced the Indian pricing and availability details yet. But we wish it makes its way like the iQOO 3 (review).
