TL; DR
- Vivo will launch the X Fold6, V80, and S2 FE in India on October 6.

Vivo India is preparing for one of its biggest launch events of the year. At the Next 2026 event, the smartphone maker is gearing up to unveil not one, not two, but three smartphones across three different segments. I’m talking about the X Fold 6, one of the most anticipated Android foldables, the Vivo V80, and the Vivo S2 FE.

Vivo Next 2026: How To Watch The Event Live?
The Vivo Next 2026 event is scheduled for October 6, 2026, at 12 PM noon. Interested buyers should be able to watch the event online via the company’s official social media handles. The YouTube card for the live event is attached below. You can tap “Notify Me” to get a notification when it starts.
| Phone | India (tipped) | US | Reference point |
| X Fold6, 12GB + 256GB | ₹1.5 lakh+ | Not sold in the US | CNY 7,999 (~$1,190) in China |
| V80, 8GB + 128GB | ~₹63,000 | Not sold in the US | V70: ₹45,999 (8GB + 256GB) |
| S2 FE, 6GB + 128GB | ₹39,999 (box price) | Not sold in the US | None yet |
While the S2 FE targets a launch price of around ₹40,000 for its baseline variant, it plans to take on the competition with its 10,000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Vivo V80 could be the company’s new premium mid-ranger, debuting at a rumored price of around ₹70,000 for the base variant with 256GB of storage.
The X Fold 6, company’s flagship boko-style foldable, began at CNY 7,999 in China. In India, it could be priced around or above ₹1.5 lakh.

What Each Phone Is Really Selling You
On paper, I rate the X Fold 6 as the showstopper, with a 200MP Zeiss main camera, a periscope lens, and a 7,000mAh battery that is unusually large for a foldable. It will remain the headline of the Next 2026 event, followed by the other two smartphones.
Meanwhile, the S2 FE’s tipped 10,000mAh cell sounds impressive on paper. However, plenty of 10,000 mAh smartphones are on the market in the same price bracket. These include the Realme P4 Power 5G (review), Realme Narzo Power 5G (review), Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, and Poco X8 Power. S, that alone might not be compelling enough for buyers.

Then there is the headset. Vivo has not said whether it will sell one in India, and it may be the Vision Explorer Edition launched in China last year. My advice is simple: hold your card until October 6, because every price here is still a leak.
