Vivo T2 series makes a debut in India at a starting price of Rs 12,999

High end variant comes with AMOLED display

After a series of speculations and rumors, Vivo has finally released the Vivo T2 series in the Indian market. The launch of the series took place via a virtual event held at 12:00 PM IST. The series consists of two devices, Vivo T2 and the Vivo T2x. Both devices carry a decent design with flat edges that offer an eye-catchy look. The rear panel of the smartphone has a shiny finish, and the rectangular camera island is placed at the top left corner. It consists of two circular cutouts for the placement of the rear sensors.

Vivo T2 series pricing and availability in India

The Vivo T2 regular variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be available in the market at a price of Rs 18,999. On the other hand, the Vivo T2x with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be available in the market for Rs 12,999. Both smartphones will be available for sale on Flipkart and the official website of Vivo. The first sale of the Vivo T2 series is scheduled to be held on April 18, 2023. The Vivo T2x will be shipped in three different color options – Marine Blue, Aurora Gold, and Glimmer Black. On the contrary, the Vivo T2 5G will be shipped in two color options – Nitro Blaze and Velocity Wave.

Vivo T2 series specifications and features

The Vivo T2 5G comes with an FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 695 5G processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in the base variant. The device will operate on the FunTouchOS 13 based on the Android 13 operating system. It sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP bokeh sensor. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device will get a 16MP front snapper. It draws power from a 4500mAh battery along with 44W fast charging support.

The Vivo T2x features a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with 2408×1080 pixel resolution. The handset works in the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The smartphone operates on the FuntouchOS based on the Android 13 operating system. For the purpose of security, the handset includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of optics, we will get to see a 50MP primary shooter and 2MP bokeh secondary snapper. For capturing selfies and attending video calls, the device gets an 8MP camera at the front. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
