Vivo X Fold 4 to get a 6000mAh battery: Launch timeline tipped

The next-generation foldable from Vivo is in the works and it might go official in China soon. Vivo X Fold 4 5G has been in the news for a while now and it will be an upgraded version of predecessor Vivo X Fold 3. Recently, some details about the Vivo X Fold 4 and its launch timeline were shared by a Chinese tipster. Read on to know more.

Vivo X Fold 4: Launch Timeline

According to previous leaks, the foldable was getting a launch during the early months of 2025, but recent ones claim that the launch might be delayed. So now the launch might take place in mid-2025. Vivo X Fold 4 is said to arrive in a single variant with no Pro version and it is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Vivo X Fold 4: Features Tipped

A Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a post on Weibo claiming some details about Vivo X Fold 4. According to the tipster, the foldable will have a thin and light design compared to its competitors. It is likely to pack a 6000mAh battery and support wireless charging too.

The tipster claims that the Vivo X Fold 4 might come with an IPX8 rating and a dual ultrasonic sensor. There will be a circular camera module at the back housing a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP (3x) periscope telephoto sensor with a macro lens.
