We have been discussing Vivo’s upcoming foldable device for the past few weeks. Last year, vivo introduced the vivo X Fold 3 and vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which means this year should have seen the launch of the vivo X Fold 4. However, the company has reportedly chosen to omit the number 4 from its lineup. This decision aligns with a common practice in Chinese culture, where the number 4 is often avoided due to its phonetic resemblance to the word for ‘death.’ Consequently, the vivo X Fold 5 is set to debut in China shortly. Additionally, tipster DGC recently shared some of its key specifications on Weibo.
