TL; DR
  • vivo X300 FE has received its second price hike since launch.
  • 12GB + 256GB is now ₹89,999 and 12GB + 512GB is ₹99,999.
  • A new 8GB + 256GB variant is reportedly coming at ₹84,999.

vivo isn’t done adjusting prices on the X300 FE. The compact flagship has just taken its second hike since launch, and buyers eyeing it are now looking at a meaningfully different number than the one vivo advertised back in May.

From ₹79,999 to ₹89,999 in Two Rounds

The phone originally launched at ₹79,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and ₹89,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The first hike in early July moved those prices to ₹86,999 and ₹96,999. The latest revision adds another ₹3,000:

  • 12GB + 256GB: ₹89,999
  • 12GB + 512GB: ₹99,999

Combined, the base variant is now ₹10,000 more expensive than its launch price with no change in specifications. vivo is also reportedly introducing a new 8GB + 256GB configuration at ₹84,999, which would become the most affordable way into the X300 FE.

The standard vivo X300 has effectively disappeared from the Indian market. It launched at ₹75,999 in December and has been out of stock across Flipkart, Amazon and vivo’s own website for weeks, with no restock in sight. For practical purposes it is discontinued.

This leaves a gap in vivo’s flagship lineup. With the X300 FE now at ₹89,999 and the X300 Pro having taken its own ₹10,000 hike to ₹1,19,999, vivo no longer offers a flagship option in the original sub-₹80,000 price zone that the X300 occupied.

At current pricing, the X200T remains the stronger value option in vivo’s lineup. It is still available around ₹59,999 and features the Dimensity 9400+, a triple 50MP Zeiss camera system, a 6,200 mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, and five years of OS updates plus seven years of security patches.

The X300 FE is not an isolated case. vivo’s V70 series has also seen multiple price corrections through 2026, with the V70 Elite climbing from a ₹54,999 launch price to ₹66,999. Similar increases have appeared across the X, V, Y and T series, reflecting rising memory and component costs that the company is passing on to buyers.
