TL; DR
  • vivo has opened pre-sales for the X300 E, which launches officially on July 27.
  • Key specs include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, triple 50MP ZEISS cameras, and a 7,015mAh battery.
  • A 6.59-inch 5,000-nit 120Hz AMOLED display and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity are also expected.

vivo launched the X300 FE in India earlier this year with a camera system co-developed with ZEISS. Now, it looks like a new model is following close behind. In China, pre-orders for the vivo X300 E have already opened, with an official introduction set for July 27 (in its native market).

The design is visually different from the X300 FE (review), but the fundamentals, including a triple rear camera setup, metal frame, and ZEISS imaging, carry over.

Vivo X300 E: Specs And Camera

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the X300 E will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with an Adreno 829 GPU. For those catching up, this is the same chipset as the Motorola Edge 70 Max, the Motorola Signature (review), X300 FE, iQOO 15R (review), and the OnePlus 15R (review)

The triple camera system is expected to mirror the X300 FE’s setup: a 50MP (f/1.57) Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP 106° ultrawide at f/2.2, and a 50MP IMX882 3x periscope telephoto at f/2.65. A 50MP autofocus selfie camera rounds it out.

The phone could carry an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dual IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings.

Vivo X300 E: Display, Battery, & Connectivity

The display could be a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED running at 120Hz with 4,320Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB on UFS 4.1, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Battery capacity is 7,015mAh with 90W fast charging, which is a meaningful step up from the X300 FE’s 6,500mAh.

Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC. The phone comes in black, white, and orange, and runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. For now, we’re not sure whether the phone will debut in India, especially since the X300 FE is already on sale here. However, if or when it arrives, it could be priced more affordably than the X300FE.
