Vivo’s flagship X90 series made its debut in November last year. Given the fourth-quarter launch schedule, Vivo is working its way to debut the Vivo X100 series last quarter this year. Turns out we have some key specifications on the global variant of Vivo X100 5G.

Global Vivo X100 5G Key Specs

The reason why we are emphasizing ‘global’ is because there’s a Chinese variant too but with slightly different specs. As the Vivo X100 series is preparing its way to launch later this year, we got some information on the vanilla X100 bearing model number V2308 and its global variant.

AS per Paras Guglani, the global Vivo X100 5G is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8 series chipset although exactly what chip remains unavailable. This is important because the previous report mentioned MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC onboard the Chinese variant of X100 5G. The phone will be running with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and Android 14-powered software onboard.

Other specs that we are aware of are an AMOLED panel boosting 120Hz refresh rate. A beefy 5,000mAh battery lies under the hood paired with 100W fast charging tech. Finally, the global Vivo X100 will arrive in white, purple, and black colorways. We have heard about is X100 will gain a triple rear camera comprising a Sony IMX9-series cam, a 12MP IMX663 UW lens, and a 64MP OV64B periscope zoom with or without a 2x telephoto zoom.

Other rumors have it that Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will pick up Dimensity 9300 SoC while the X100 Pro+ goes for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

As per the tentative timeline, Vivo will launch the X100 5G in China in the last quarter of this year followed by its launch in India and globally probably in Q1 2024. Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro+ models will tag along too just like last year’s Vivo X90 series.
