Vivo X100 Series arrives in India with Dimensity 9300 SoC & 1-inch Zeiss Camera sensor

January 4th, 2024 has seen not one but two leading smartphone brands launching their newest series in India. Alongside the Redmi Note 13 Series, Vivo has announced the Vivo X100 Series including Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. Known for its photography prowess, the Vivo X100 Series was launched in China in 2023. In China, there were 3 models in the series, Vivo X100 Pro Plus also being included. However, like the past few years, Vivo has announced only 2 out of the 3 models for the Indian market. Read on to learn details about the price, availability, and features of the Vivo X100 Series.

Vivo X100 Series: Price & Availability

The Vivo X100 5G comes in 2 storage options-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 63,999
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 69,999

It will be available in Asteroid Black and Stargaze Blue shades.

The Vivo X100 Pro 5G will come in a single storage option in India-

  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 89,999

It will be available in Asteroid Black shade.

Pre-booking for both devices is now open and the sale starts on 11th January 2024.

Vivo X100 5G Specifications

The Vivo X100 5G sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED Eye Protection panel with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The smartphone runs Android 14 OS and supports Dual nano SIM cards.

In terms of camera optics, the Vivo X100 5G features a 1-inch Zeiss 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization along with a 50MP ultrawide and a 64MP telephoto lens at the back. The additional features include telephoto sunset mode and Zeiss multifocal. Portrait, AI Night View, AR Planetarium, and Zeiss T Coating. At the front is a 32MP selfie snapper for self-portraits and video calls. Additional features include USB Type-C charging, stereo speakers, Hi-Fi audio, IP68 rating, 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, NFC, and much more.

Under the hood, the smartphone draws juice from a 5000mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast charging. The Vivo X100 5G weighs 202-206 grams and its dimensions are 164.05×75.19×8.49mm. It is IP68-rated as well.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G Specifications

The Vivo X100 Pro 5G sports the same 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED Eye Protection display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 3000 nits brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 4nm SoC paired with Immortalis G720 GPU. There is up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage as well. The device is IP68 rated and comes with a 5G Quad Low-Frequency antenna design.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G runs Android 14 OS out of the box and sports a triple camera setup at the back. It includes the biggest 1-inch Zeiss 50MP main lens with OIS, 50MP ultrawide angle lens, and 50MP telephoto camera. Vivo X100 Pro also includes a V3 imaging chip for better photography along with features like ZEISS Apo telephoto camera, AR Planetarium, Multifocal portrait, handheld Astro portrait, and 4K Cinematic Portrait Video. At the front is a 32MP selfie lens. Additional features include USB Type-C charging, stereo speakers, Hi-Fi audio, IP68 rating, 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, NFC, and much more.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G will draw power from a large 5400mAh battery with 100W flash fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device weighs 221-225 grams and has a thickness of 9mm.
