The Vivo X200 Series will be powered by Dimensity 9400 chipset and will be the successor to the X100 Series that came out in November 2023, so this time Vivo is launching the X-Series earlier, probably to compete with the iPhone 16 Series. Vivo is currently the number one brand in China after selling the maximum number of smartphones between July to August. It had a market share of 19.4% and in the premium segment, the share is 16%.

The Vivo X200 is said to feature a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO 1.5K screen with 120Hz refresh while the X200 Pro might come with a 6.8-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved screen. The smartphones are expected to be powered by Dimensity 9400 chipset.

The vanilla model is expected to sport a 50MP main sensor with OIS along with ultrawide sensor and periscope lens whereas the pro variant might have a 50MP main camera along with 50MP ultrawide camera and 200MP periscope lens. Batteries are also expected to be bumped up with X200 packing a 5600mAh battery while X200 Pro has a 6000mAh battery. There will be 90W wired fast charging support.

Both smartphones could come with an IP68 rating and the Pro version is expected to have an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor. Both Vivo X200 and X200 Pro will run Android 15-based Origin OS out of the box.
