The evening of glitz, glamour, and recognition is here. The 94^th Academy Awards were held today at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. After last year’s socially distanced at Union Station, the Oscars are back to the grandeur of the Dolby Theatre. The ceremony had 3 hosts- Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall.

While CODA was the biggest winner of the night, 8 categories received Oscars before the live telecast. However, their wins were included in the telecast. These include Oscars for Animated Short Film, Documentary Short Film, Film Editing, Live Action Short Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Original Score, Production Design, and Sound.

Samuel Jackson, Elaine May, and Liv Ullmann were honored with Honorary Awards in 2022. The Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award was given to Danny Glover.
