Xiaomi 12T series could reach the Indian shores in September itself

Xiaomi introduced the 12 series smartphones recently including the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12S series. Now, it seems like the smartphone brand is working on a new sub-series named Xiaomi 12T Expectations are that we will get to see the Xiaomi 12T series soon in the Indian and Chinese markets. The series will most probably consist of two phones – Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. While we haven’t seen the Xiaomi 12S series reaching the Indian shores, it is already being said that the 12T series will land in India too.

As for the launch timeline, the latest smartphone lineup by Xiaomi is set to launch in September itself. Until now, the exact date of the same has not surfaced online. The Xiaomi 12T Pro could have two RAM variants at the time of launch – 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The device will be shipped in three colour variants – Clear Blue, Lunar Silver, and Cosmic Black. Simultaneously, the Xiaomi 12T with have 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 256GB storage variants respectively. The colour options for the base variant will be similar to the Pro variant.

Xiaomi 12T series expected specs and features

The Xiaomi 12T Pro could be rebranded as the Redmi K50 Ultra which ships with a 200MP primary shooter. It is also in the air that the Xiaomi 12T will come with a 108MP primary shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. Seeing the speculated camera details, we can say one thing with surety that Xiaomi 12T lineup will focus more on photography prowess, without forgetting the performance factor of course.

The Pro variant will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the base variant will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC. Both smartphones will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate. The devices will be powered by a 5000mAh battery for a durable life. The Pro variant will come with 120W fast charging support and the base variant will have 67W fast charging support. The Xiaomi 12T could be priced somewhere around Rs 50,000 and the Pro variant will be priced around Rs 65,000.
