Tech giant Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 Series in China. The series consists of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones, both of which offer an upgrade in design, and performance. The smartphones are expected to launch globally soon, but India’s launch will take a while as the company will first be launching Redmi Note 12 Series in India on 5th January.

Let us compare Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to understand more about the devices.

Xiaomi 13 Vs Xiaomi 13 Pro: Display

Xiaomi 13 sports a 6.36-inch FHD+ AMOLED E6 display with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG support aided by an ambient color temperature sensor. It has a peak brightness of 1900 nits and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The smartphone has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a 6.73-inch FHD+ LTPO E6 display with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and 1920Hz DC Dimming. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and an ambient color temperature sensor. The new display can give a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and a peak brightness of 1900 nits.

Xiaomi 13 Vs Xiaomi 13 Pro: Performance

Both devices are powered by the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno GPU for graphics, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. They run Android 13-based MIUI  14 custom skin out of the box.

The Xiaomi 13 comes in 4 storage configurations- 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/512GB storage.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in 4 storage models well-8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/512GB storage.

The vanilla model features a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The front has a 32MP selfie lens.

Talking about the Xiaomi 13 Pro device has a triple camera setup as well. The setup includes a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. This one also has a 32MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi 13 packs a 4500mAh battery with 67W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging whereas Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 4820mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

Connectivity options for Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Both have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Xiaomi 13 has Hi-Res audio, X-axis linear motor, IP68 dust and water protection, and a vapor chamber for heat dissipation.

Xiaomi 13 comes in Black, Light Green, Light Blue, Gray, and White colorways. On the other hand, Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in White, Black, Green, and Light Blue.
