The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has confirmed the global launch date for its latest Android flagship: the Xiaomi 17 series. While Chinese markets offer more than two options, Xiaomi should launch two models from the series globally: the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

Xiaomi 17 Series To Go Global On February 28, 2026

According to the company, both phones will debut globally on February 28, 2026, in Barcelona (along with the Mobile World Congress). The Xiaomi 17 launch event will be livestreamed via the company’s official handles (most likely YouTube) at 07:30 PM IST.

So far, Xiaomi has teased the Xiaomi 17 series on its Indian website and social media handles. However, the brand hasn’t announced (yet) anything about the Indian arrival of the handsets. Neither do we have any solid rumors about the Xiaomi 17 series’ Indian pricing.

There’s a good chance Xiaomi will announce the Indian versions of the smartphones at the MWC 2026 event.

Do We Know Anything Else About The Smartphones?

However, that is the extent of the information confirmed by the brand. Even so, we still know a couple of things about the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

The specifications below are expected for the handsets. One notable difference between the Chinese and the global versions of the handsets could be their battery capacity.
