Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra are expected to be launched in India by Xiaomi soon. As Xiaomi prepares to launch its laptops at an upcoming event, various key specifications have surfaced online. This gives us a better idea of what the Mi Notebook Pro and Ultra may offer. It also suggests how Xiaomi is likely looking to upgrade its laptops from being just budget options to premium products designed for business and high-performance users – without giving up the value proposition.

Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook features (expected)

Mi Notebook Pro is expected to have a 14-inch display with 2.5K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This suggests that the Mi Notebook Pro could have a tall display aspect ratio, and a new leak is claiming that both laptops will have displays with 16:10 aspect ratios. A taller display form factor is deemed to be better for reading and usage ergonomics in new generation laptops. Meanwhile, the Mi Notebook Ultra is expected to feature a 15.6-inch display with a 3.2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Both displays would be rated to cover 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut.

Among other specifications of the new generation Mi Notebook laptops are 11th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, and up to 16GB DDR4 memory and 512GB SSD storage. Earlier leaks have suggested that the Mi Notebook Ultra could also feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti discrete graphics, but this has not been mentioned in the latest array of leaked specifications. The laptops are expected to feature backlit keyboards, a feature that was surprisingly absent from the previous generation of Mi Notebook laptops.

Furthermore, they are expected to feature two 2W integrated speakers as well as a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello recognition and integrated HD webcams. As for connectivity, the Mi Notebook Pro and Ultra are expected to include a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, a USB 3.2 gen 1 port, an HDMI port, as well as a 3.5mm audio port. It is also tipped to offer Wi-Fi 6, and the two laptops will be offered in multiple SKUs.

Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Price (expected)

Lastly, the Mi Notebook Pro is said to cost around Rs 60,000 in India, while the most expensive variant of the Mi Notebook Ultra may cost around Rs 80,000.

Xiaomi has not confirmed if all the two new laptops will be available in India right away, or if the top variants will be released after gauging consumer interest in the new, premium Xiaomi laptops.
