Xiaomi’s Mi 9 will be the 2019 flagship from the Chinese smartphone maker, and will naturally be loaded will all the requisite bells and whistles. The sentiment is corroborated by a fresh Mi 9 leak that suggests features like triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary sensor, 32W fast charging, and more.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Leaked Specs
Xiaomi’s 2019 flagship Mi 9 would sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. According to the Weibo leak, the phone would measure 155 x 75 x 7.6 mm in dimensions and sport a waterdrop notch.
As the smartphone displays are getting closer to the bleeding edge, they come up with new mechanisms for biometric authentication. In Mi 9’s case, there would be an under-display fingerprint, making it a sibling to the likes of Vivo V11 Pro and Oneplus 6T.

It allegedly features a 24 MP selfie camera with the Sony IMX576 sensor. And as for the back, there could be three cameras including a 48 MP primary shooter (using Sony’s IMX586 sensor), a secondary 12 MP camera, and a third 3D TOF sensor. We could expect flagship-grade camera performance out of these.
Under the hood, the device would be powered by the high-end Snapdragon 855 SoC, with the X24 LTE modem (one of the best in-store). This is likely to be coupled with 6+128GB or higher RAM and onboard storage respectively. The device would be running on Android 9 Pie donning MIUI 10 on top. Mi 9 would support a 32W fast charging for the 3500mAh battery, but apparently, Xiaomi will skip wireless charging.

Expected Price
The phone is speculated to be priced around CNY 2,999, which in Indian rupees would be approx Rs. 30,517.82 (as per current exchange rates). We expect Xiaomi to announce the device at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in late February and it might hit retail shelves in March.
