Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Band 5. The latest smart wear comes with a 1.2-inch color OLED screen, magnetic charging, and improved health features.

Here, have a look:

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 features

While Xiaomi adopted a colored OLED panel, this year’s band brings an even 20% bigger screen that measures 1.2-inches in size. Spicing things up is the support for 100+ new animated watch faces with popular anime/cartoon characters.

Matching the watch face, you can pick the color of the strap.

The band 5 claims up to 14 days of battery life.

It can be charged magnetically using a charging dock. You just have to bring the charger to the dual-electrode pins at the base of the band. It will clasp and begin charging. This means you don’t have to pluck out the tracker from the strap. Also, bear in mind, it isn’t backward compatible with previous Mi bands.

Coming to the main course, you have 11 fitness tracking modes and a menstrual cycle tracker for female users. The sleep tracking now keeps a tab on the REM cycle too. Starting with the Mi Band 5, you are getting a PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) score that will draw a relation between your activities and the fitness result.

Rest, the Mi Band 5 brings a remote camera trigger, NFC payments (in select markets), 5ATM water resistance (50m up to 30 minutes in fresh water), and Bluetooth 5.0.
