Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P cleaner launched in India: Price and availability

Xiaomi is much more than just a smartphone brand. Back in China, its product portfolio ranges from smart juicers to smart dishwashers. Of late, Xiaomi has started slowly expanding its portfolio in India and the latest addition is Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P cleaner.

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P is a smart cleaning device which offers sweeping and mopping functions both. It is claimed to feature a Laser Detect System (LDS) to enable precise navigation.

Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P price in India and availability

Xiaomi is offering initial 10,000 units of Mi Robot Vacuum- Mop P crowdfunding on Mi.com. These 10,000 units are offered at an introductory price of Rs 17,999. There’s also a no-cost EMI option offered where customers can own Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P by paying Rs 2,999 per month. Post Introductory offer Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P India price will be Rs. 29,999 as indicated on the official listing page. Shipping of the Robot Vacuum Cleaner will commence from September 15.

Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P features & specifications

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P uses Japanese brushless motor that has a 2100Pa suction power intelligent mapping and route planning. The maker has integrated LDS laser navigation technology and upgraded SLAM algorithm for intelligent real-time mapping, faster speed, higher accuracy and longer scanning range.

As per the e-store listing, “the robot smartly deals with complicated surroundings and scans the entire floor simultaneously”.

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P includes a total of 12 high-precision sensors. There are anti-collision and anti-drop sensors to prevent accidents. As per claims, it can make accurately navigate and cross obstacles up to 2cm in height.

This smart sweeping and mopping device includes a water tank with 3 gears of water dispensing modes. It also has built-in a mechanism to prevent clogging.

The device is synced with Mi Home app which also allows user to control real-time mapping, spot cleaning, schedule cleaning and more. The Mi Home app also offers capabilities to create restricted zones for Mi Robot.

As for innards, the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a 3200mAh rechargeable battery. It can run for 60-130 minutes on a single charge depending on the area and conditions.The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P is wi-fi equipped, measures 350 x 94.5mm and weighs 3.6 kilograms
