Xiaomi Mi TV 5X line-up now official in India

Xiaomi’s Smarter Living 2022 event is over and as expected, Xiaomi launched as many as six new IoT products in India. Biggest of them all is Mi TV 5X series which replaces MI TV 4X in India. The Mi TV 5X smart TVs claims to feature better design, improved picture quality and better sounds. The new TVs have support for 4K HDR including Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Here’s everything you need to know about Mi TV 5X series including its price in India, specifications, and avialablity details.

43-inch Mi TV 5X, 50-inch Mi TV 5X and 55-inch Mi TV 5X prices in India

The Mi TV 5X 43-inch 4K model is priced at Rs 31,999 where as its upper model the Mi TV 5X 50-inch 4K model retails for Rs 41,999. The Mi TV 5X 55-inch is priced at Rs 47,999. the entire line up will become avialable from September 7th, 2021 at 12 PM on mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home, Mi Studio, and Croma.

Mi TV 5X 43, 50, and 55 specifications

The Mi TV 5X comes in three screen sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch. Apart from screen size and audio output rest of the key specifications remains the same accross models.

All three Mi TV 5X varaints boasts of 4K resolution, a a 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU and Mali G52 MP2 GPU. All of them comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The entire Mi TV 5X line-up support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG. Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine 2 is is tasked to handle visuals. Xiaomi claims it’s TVs can deliver 1 billion colors and support ewide DCI P3 wide gamut. Top two models of the Mi TV 5X can pump out 40W sound while the base variant tops out at 30W audio output. There is support for both Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD right out of the box. As for connectivity, the line up features three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, an ethernet port, an optical port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and AV input. There is support for eARC, Bluetooth 5.0 with BLE, and Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

The new Xiaomi TVs also comes out running on PatchWall 4 which is based on Android TV 10. The latest version of PatchWall UI comes with IMDB ratings intigrations. These TVs also works with Google Assistance and Chromecast built-in.
