Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Leaked Images Reveals Design; Expect Leica Cameras, Punch-Hole Display, and More

Anticipation is mounting as Xiaomi’s President, Lu Weibing, has officially announced the impending debut of the highly awaited MIX Fold 3 smartphone this month in China. Leading up to the much-anticipated launch, an intriguing development has surfaced – an alleged image of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 box has surfaced online. Furthermore, adding to the excitement, in the latest development a series of leaked renders revealing the design of the MIX Fold 3, the foldable phone, has also come to light.

In the initial set of visuals, the focus is on the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3‘s packaging box and its frontal design. These images, which emerged on Weibo. The front design prominently presents a vertically elongated display for the MIX Fold 3, featuring a discreet punch-hole selfie camera positioned at the top, accompanied by tactile buttons adorning the sides.

Further imagery surfaced on Weibo, offering a glimpse into the rear design and the unfolded display of the MIX Fold 3. These visuals hint at an intriguing back design, indicating a potential luxurious leather finish. Additionally, the images reveal the presence of a sophisticated quadruple-camera configuration, benefiting from Leica’s expertise, promising exceptional photographic capabilities.

When unfolded, the MIX Fold 3 presents an expansive display that operates on the MIUI OS. The absence of a discernible punch-hole camera indicates the potential use of an under-display sensor for capturing selfies. In contrast to its forerunner, the MIX Fold 2, the design appears largely familiar, albeit featuring notable alterations in the camera module configuration.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Rumoured Specifications

Regarding its specifications, the MIX Fold 3 is anticipated to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is likely to make its debut with configurations of 16GB LPDDR5x RAM coupled with either 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The foldable device is also expected to house a robust 4,800mAh battery, supporting both 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

Xiaomi enthusiasts can look forward to the imminent launch of the MIX Fold 3 this month. While the foldable device is set to make its debut in China, indications suggest it might remain exclusive to this region. Notably, Xiaomi has an array of offerings in the pipeline, including the anticipated Redmi K60 Ultra, the Pad 6 Max tablet, and the Redmi Pad 2 tablet, promising an exciting lineup of products.
