Amazon launches all-new Fire TV Stick 4K for Rs. 5999

Leading e-commerce giant Amazon India has launched an all-new 4K Fire TV Stick 4K in the country. It is the most powerful streaming stick in the lineup that offers access to 12k+ applications via the App Store. These apps span entertainment, sports, news, and more. This addition to the Fire TV Family offers seamless streaming of 4K content with Ultra HD picture quality.

Speaking at the launch of Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, GM of Amazon Devices India said, “Our viewers preference is shifting to watching lifelike, ultra-cinematic video content from the comfort of their home. Customers seek streaming options that offer fast performance, superior picture quality and audio quality, smart features, immersive graphics for games and so much more. With our most powerful Fire TV stick 4K, customers will be able to enjoy advanced and high-performance streaming at home.”

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K: Price & Availability

The newest Fire TV Stick 4K is priced at Rs. 5999 and is available for pre-order on Amazon India portal starting today. Amazon will start shipping orders from May 13th. You can also check out the new streaming device at online and offline stores of Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales from 13th May 2024.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K: Features

The new Fire TV Stick 4K offers seamless and fast streaming of 4K content along with buttery smooth navigation, and quick app launching as it is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core chipset. The connectivity options include a WiFi 6 compatible router that allows 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands to allow streaming of content.

The Fire TV Stick comes with an Alexa Voice Remote that can control the Fire TV Stick 4K along with functions like power and volume control. Users can find, launch, and control content within seconds through their voice. They can also go to their favorite apps with pre-set buttons and control TV power and volume with a single remote.

There is also a capability to build Alexa Home Theatre by connecting Echo smart speakers to Fire TV stick wirelessly, through the Alexa app. The newly launched Fire TV Stick offers access to more than a million movies and TV shows through 12,000+ applications via the App Store. These include popular OTT apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Jio Cinema, Zee5, SonyLIV, and many more.

Amazon Fire Stick offers streaming of a large amount of Disney+Hotstar, Prime Video, and Netflix content seamlessly. This includes popular titles like Family Man, Mirzapur, Farzi, Aspirants, Panchayat, Made in Heaven, and many more.

The viewers will also be able to enjoy free content from platforms like Amazon Mini TV, YouTube, and MX Player. Live TV channels like Sony, Star Plus, News18, ABP News, Aajtak, and more from the DTH set-top box can also be viewed using Fire TV Stick 4K.

With this newest stick, Amazon has tried to do its bit for the environment. The company has reduced its carbon footprint by using more sustainable materials and bringing designs that reduce overall lifetime energy consumption. The new Fire TV Stick 4K also comes with a low-power mode that conserves energy when a device goes to sleep or standby mode during the inactivity phase.
