Apple’s Home Ecosystem is getting AI updates?

Apple announced AI updates for its iPhones, iPads, and Macs during the WWDC 2024. After that reports claimed that Apple would also roll out AI updates for Vision Pro Headset, however, the company’s home devices were not talked about. The latest we hear is that these home ecosystem devices are also getting AI rollout soon. Apple seems to be working on a new robotic tabletop device that might be the first to feature Apple Intelligence.

Bloomberg’s report claims that Apple is planning to introduce AI features to the HomePod or Apple TV lineup. The first device might be the robot mentioned above. The idea behind the device is to add a display that mimics the head movements of the user during a facetime call.

Some reports also hint that Apple will introduce a new HomePod with a touchscreen display attached to it so this one will have AI capabilities.

Since all these are just rumors, we are taking them with a pinch of salt for now.

What Apple actually does will get clear in the coming months as the iPhone 16 Series launch inches closer.
