Asus India has launched the ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition laptop in India. The Strix Scar laptops are known for their high-class gaming prowess and this new special edition laptop is not far behind.

The Laptop starts at a price of Rs. 3,59,990 in India and can be purchased via Asus e-shop, Amazon, Flipkart, Asus brand stores, ROG stores, and retailers like Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and more.

ROG Strix Scar 17 SE: Features

The laptop is powered by the new top-of-the-line Intel 12th gen Core i9 HX Series of processors. It features TDP levels of up to 65W, a core count of 16 cores, 24 threads, and a clock speed of up to 5GHz making it overcome any challenge easily.

ROG Strix Scar 17 SE is a gaming laptop that is designed to give superior performance and gameplay on the fly to gamers and eSports players. It is equipped with an aluminum lid with a new covert design overhaul. It has a 17.3-inch QHD 240Hz 3ms display panel along with the chassis, keyboard, and trackpad maintaining the advantages of the SCAR 2022.

A new vapor chamber has also been introduced that replaces the heat pipes to give better heat dissipation covering the motherboard area of up to 48.8%. The ROG slash pattern hides a wealth of Easter Eggs under invisible ink, some of them with a close connection to our new Citadel game, SCAR runner, which is a free-to-play game with cutting-edge product display functionality.

The laptop comes with a MUX switch which is an onboard switch that reduces in-game latencies and boosts performance by up to 10%. It also has Dolby Atmos powered quad speakers that create an authentic sound stage for your games along with a keyboard that is rated to last over 20 million presses. The keyboard comes with WASD keys that rest easily, are durable to stand over time, and are flexible.
