Asus TUF Gaming laptops launched with AMD Ryzen 4000 processors in India

ASUS India has expanded its TUF gaming series with the launch of two new AMD-based laptops – TUF A15 and TUF A17. Both of these new laptops are based on AMD’s new Ryzen 4000 platform. Apart from internals, Asus has also made improvements in aesthetics of the TUF range which now seems to take inspiration from the higher-end ROG range.

Asus TUF A15, TUF A17 Highlights

Asus, with these TUF laptops, offers consumers an option to choose between the Ryzen 7 4800H and Ryzen 5 4600H. Both the A15 and A17 can be configured with either of the Ryzen processors. As you might have guessed right, the TUF A15 includes a 15-inch screen with 144Hz refresh rate. The 17-inch screen on the TUF A17, on the other hand, can refresh 120 times per second.

The new TUF notebooks from Asus can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM. It also supports dual storage slots to install PCIe Gen 3 SSD along with regular SATA HDD. As for GPU, Asus offers options to choose from Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 to the RTX 2060 for A15 buyers and the A17 is only offered with the GTX 1660Ti GPU.

As for connectivity, it includes USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen 2) with display support (DP1.4, two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, a USB Type-A USB2.0 port, an audio jack combo, an ethernet port, and HDMI. It also supports Intel Gigabit LAN, 802.11 ac gigabit-class Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1.

Asus has also include DTS:X Ultra audio support, special self-cleaning fans with anti-dust tunnels. Both these laptops are offered in Fortress Gray or Bonfire Black hues.
