Casio has released the AE-1700H series in the United States. The series includes three variants: 1AV, 1A2V, and 1BV. These models are now available on the Casio US website for $54.95. All the models feature a round digital display paired with a timer-style aluminum bezel, mounted on a resin case and a resin band.

According to the official website, the watch’s case measures approximately 54.9×47.3×14.3 mm and weighs about 60 grams. The rated water resistance is 100 meters or 10 bar, making the watches suitable for swimming and casual diving. The bezel also features a marked timer.

Regarding the color models, the 1AV features a standard black case and a display with a positive or light background. The 1BC, on the other hand, features a black case and a negative or dark background display. Last but not least, the 1A2V features a black case and a striking dual-tone red/blue bezel. All the watches feature a resin band.

It features an LED backlight (amber LED) with selectable duration and afterglow. The watch offers a 1/100-second precision, up to a 24-hour countdown timer (with one-minute or one-hour increments).

Additional features include three alarms (two one-time alarms and one snooze/one-time alarm), an hourly chime, a full auto-calendar through 2099, dual time with DST on/off, and a Fishing mode that indicates the suitability of a specific date and time for fishing.
