HMD Global Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 India Prices Revealed

Following in the footsteps of Nokia 6.1, HMD Global has announced refreshed versions of Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 2, named as the Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1, respectively. The new products were launched in Moscow in Russia yesterday, but HMD Global accidentally listed prices in India on the official store.

The Price has since been taken down, but we did capture the screenshots before that happened.

It is worth mentioning here that the Nokia 2.1 is an Android Go based entry segment phone while the remaining two falls under the Android One family.

Nokia 5.1 India Price and Features

As per the official website, the Nokia 5.1 best buy price in India will be Rs 12,499. Just like its predecessor it’s pretty solid and carved out of a single chunk of aluminum (Series 6000). This time the Nokia 5.1 edges have been rounded to ensure a more comfortable and firm grip. The handset comes with a 5.5-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 443 pixels per inches. Optics wise, the Nokia 5.1 houses a 16MP rear camera with phase detection auto-focus and an 8MP selfie camera with a wide-angle lens.

HMD souces a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek 6755S chipset which, as per the company, will result in 40 percent smoother performance than Nokia 5. In Rusia, the Nokia 5.1 come in 2GB RAM+16GB ROM or 3GB RAM+32GB of internal storage options, each with microSD card support. The India official page doesn’t match the price to a particular variant, though. The phone is listed in three colors – Copper, Blue, and Black.

Nokia 3.1 India Price and Features

The Nokia 3.1, on the other hand, is listed on Nokia India store for Rs 9,499. Sticking to HMD Global’s premium design policy, the Nokia 3.1 too comes with an anodized aluminum based diamond cut casing. It also gets a 5.2-inch 18:9 display with HD+ resolution. The Nokia 3.1 is powered by a MediaTek 6750N chipset and coupled with 2GB /3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB).

The Nokia 3.1 optics include a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with a 2,990mAh battery and includes a regular micro USB port. The Nokia 3.1 will be available in Blue Copper, Black Chrome, and White Iro hues.

Nokia 2 India Price and Features

The Nokia 2.1 (Android Go) India price as per the official site is Rs 6,999. The phone features a 5.5-inch HD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio alongside dual frontal speakers. The Nokia 2.1 is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset and coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The phone also supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The new Nokia 2.1 comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery. For shutterbugs, it sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.
