Google Pixel 11 Series Roundup: Table of Content

From skipping the country for its early Pixel series launches (including the Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 lineups) to now selling its flagship directly through the Google India e-store, Flipkart, and several other popular retail chains, Google has come a long way in India.

Its recent flagship phones have been available in the subcontinent from their first global sales, and this shows the company’s commitment to India as one of the fastest-growing smartphone markets in the world. And this is why the Pixel 11 series could be the company’s most important launch in 2026.

For now, the lineup consists of four models: the vanilla Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, each of which targets a different type of buyer. Given below is a table that gives you a clear idea about the expected specifications and features for each of the phones, but let me assure you, the prose contains many more nuances than you’d think.

So, without any further ado, here’s everything we know about the Pixel 11 series.

Expected LaunchMid-late August 2026 (Indian/global)September – October 2026

When Will Google Launch The Pixel 11 Series In India?

The short answer: August 2026, with the Indian availability coinciding with the global release (as it did for the Pixel 10 series, except the foldable).

If you look at the previous launch, Google announced the Pixel 10 series on August 20, 2025, and started accepting pre-orders the same day. All the smartphones in the lineup, except the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, went on general retail sale on August 28, 2025, both in India and the United States.

Unless there are any unforeseen supply chain or logistical issues, there’s no reason why Google won’t follow the same launch timeline this year. Taking into account the launch dates of the Pixel 9 (August 13-14, 2024) and the Pixel 10 (August 20-21), the Pixel 11 could debut in India between mid to end August, 2026.

Pre-orders should go live the same day, while the retail availability should commence within a week of the announcement. This would place the Pixel series right after Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event for the Fold 8 series but before the iPhone 18 Pro breaks cover in September 2026.

However, these claims might not hold for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google’s next-generation foldable might debut after the regular Pixel 11 series, perhaps after three to four weeks from its international debut.

How Much Will The Google Pixel 11 Cost In India?

Let’s get one thing out of the way: Google places its Pixel series in the top-tier flagship category. It competes with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S series and Apple’s annual iPhones. In India, the Pixel 11 series would also have to prove its mettle against flagships from the aggressive Chinese brands, such as OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi.

Due to the ongoing memory and component price hike, the baseline Pixel 11 is most likely to get a price revision of at least ₹5,000, so I’m adding that to the table below. The higher-priced SKUs, such as the Pro and the Pro Fold ones, could retain their price with fewer launch offers or discounts.

Google maintained a baseline storage of 256GB on the Pixel 10 series, and I’m not expecting any changes there.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Design

Last year, Google asked (in an interview with Bloomberg) buyers to expect new Pixel designs “every to to three years,” and the early Pixel 11 renders, wherein the phones look extraordinarily similar to the Pixel 10s, corroborate that. I am not saying that’s a bad thing, though.

In fact, Google’s Pixels have some of the cleanest and most distinctive designs of all smartphones. However, keep in mind that an upgrade from the Pixel 10 won’t turn heads, at least not for the looks as a whole. However, there might be subtle elements that may require closer observation.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL’s CAD renders, shared by Android Headlines (in collaboration with OnLeaks), show an all-glass camera bar, instead of the aluminum shielding on the right side, which houses the LED flash module on the Pixel 10 series. Unlike the visor’s color-matched encasing, the Pixel 11 series could feature an all-black camera bar.

The base Pixel 11 measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm, carrying effectively the same footprint as the Pixel 10, only with a 0.1mm adjustment to thickness (via Android Headlines). The Pixel 11 Pro XL case renders suggest a slightly wider rear camera cutout (perhaps for a larger sensor) along with a thinner camera bar lip.

A major leak from Mystic Leaks claimed that the temperature sensor on Pro models could be replaced with a “Pixel Glow” light in the rear camera bar, described as small LEDs similar to Nothing’s Glyph feature (via 9to5Google), probably not as extensive, but serving the same purpose. It might also light up when someone invokes the Gemini AI assistant.

About the color options, the regular Pixel 11 could be available in four finishes: black, green, pink, and purple. The Pro variant, as seen in Android Authority’s renders, could be available in a cool metallic-gray blur finish. There are no color rumors about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold at the moment, though.

Speaking of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the foldable is expected to be largely the same as the outgoing Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with no major or noticeable design changes.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Display

The standard Pixel 11 could get a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a 2424 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz PWM dimming, and an HBM brightness of 2,200 nits (a 200 nits bump over the regular Pixel 10). The 240Hz PWM dimming should benefit anyone who uses their phone for long stretches indoors.

Stepping up to the Pixel 11 Pro, the screen size might stay at 6.3 inches, but the resolution could jump to 2856 x 1280. The brightness rises to 2,450 nits as well. This should also be the HBM brightness number, as the Pixel 10 Pro (review) already achieves up to 2,200 nits in the HBM mode. The Pixel 11 Pro XL stretches further to 6.8 inches at 2992 x 1344 resolution, with the same 2,450-nit ceiling (via Trusted Reviews).

While the regular Pixel 11 could use an LTPS panel, both the Pro variants could feature LTPO panels, which unlock true variable refresh rate (1-120Hz).

Speaking of the foldable, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could sport an 8-inch inner display that comes in at 2,160 x 2,076 resolution with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, while the cover screen could retain its 6.4-inch size with a similar peak brightness. Both screens on the phone should support up to 120Hz of refresh rate.

According to an ET News report published in April, the Pixel 11 lineup could feature Samsung’s advanced M16 OLED panel before any other flagship phone gets it. The new-generation panel could offer brighter screens across the Pixel 11 lineup, along with higher power efficiency and a more accurate color production.

If the report is anything to go by, the Pixel 11 will be the first flagship series to get this upgrade, even before the iPhone 18 Pro series and the Galaxy S27 models get it.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Processor

Every Google Pixel 11 variant, whether it’s the vanilla Pixel 11 or the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is expected to run on the Tensor G6 processor, the successor to the Tensor G5 on the Pixel 10 lineup.

The chipset could mark the first time Google moves away from Samsung’s foundry and modem configuration to TSMC’s 2nm fabrication process with a 1+4+2 CPU cluster design, based on ARM C1 cores (via 9To5Google). This should translate into a better, more efficient chip that does well under sustained workloads.

Google Tensor G5

Besides, the chipset could also feature the PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU, the new Titan M3 security chip, and the MediaTek M90 modem (claims to offer up to 18% lower average power consumption).

In CPU terms, the chip features a single ARM C1-Ultra core at 4.11 GHz, four C1-Pro cores at 3.38 GHz, and two C1-Pro cores at 2.65 GHz. The configuration could make it around 40% more powerful in single-core performance when compared to the Tensor G5 SoC (via Android Authority), which is a meaningful real-world difference, particularly for all the on-device AI experiences that Google provides with its flagship smartphones.

But even so, the chipset is most likely to remain behind most of what the competition offers, including the successor to the Dimensity 9500 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips, and, of course, Apple’s rumored A20 Pro chips, all of which are expected to transition from 3nm to 2nm technology by the end of this year.

Buyers could also get a new TPU and a new GXP, which, per rumors, is Google’s latest image signal processor for handling new camera hardware on the Pixel 11 series. Gaming, however, might not see as substantial an upgrade as the CPU performance. The baseline Pixel 11 should come with 12GB of RAM, while the Pro variants could flaunt 16GB of memory for accommodating busier workflows.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Software

All four Pixel 11 models should come with Android 17 out of the box. The upcoming software update is being built with large-screen devices, such as foldables and tablets, in mind. It goes without saying, but every Pixel 11 model should come with Google’s class-leading seven-year software commitment, including both OS and security patches.

We’ve already seen the new features coming with Android 17 at The Android Show 2026 and Google I/O 2026, and they should be the headline additions to the Pixel 11 series at launch. These include Gemini Intelligence (agentic AI for multi-step tasks), Gemini in Chrome, smarter Autofill, Create My Widget, Rambler for Gboard, Pause Point, and a couple of other Android 16 QPR features making it to a broader list of OEM devices.

In addition to this, Android 17 is also bringing better content creation opportunities to Pixel 11, directly from Instagram’s camera. We’ve already covered those features as dedicated stories, and mentioning all of them would go beyond the scope of this article. The new TPU should also help increase the response time of the on-device AI experience Pixels get as part of the Google AI suite.

Another noteworthy addition could be the Pixel Glow lighting system, which might be tied into Android 17’s notification system. Moreover, Android 17 is going to be one of the most substantial, feature-packed, and heavy software updates in a while.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Cameras

Every year, it’s Google’s camera reputation that does a lot of heavy lifting in lifting the devices from store shelves, and the Pixel 11 lineup isn’t going to be different.

The baseline Pixel 11 could get a new 50MP primary camera (codenamed chemosh), a tiny yet noticeable upgrade from the 48MP Samsung GN8 sensor on the Pixel 10. The other two sensors — including the 10.8MP 5x telephoto and 13MP ultrawide — will most likely remain the same on the purported handset.

The front camera might be upgraded, but whether it’s to a 12MP or 32MP sensor isn’t clear at the moment.

The Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro XL could also get the new 50MP primary sensor. These models are also expected to get a new telephoto sensor, which, I believe, could be a larger sensor instead of one with a higher resolution. The ultrawide camera should remain the same, and so should the selfie camera.

Finally, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could also get the new 50MP sensor, but other cameras may remain the same. The Tensor G6’s upgraded TPU and new GXP image signal processor should push low-light and skin-tone processing further than the Pixel 10, even where the hardware specs look similar on paper.

Google Pixel 11 Roundup: Battery Capacity & Charging Speed

The Pixel 11 could carry a rated battery capacity of 4,840mAh, which Google may market as 5,000 mAh. The Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro XL, meanwhile, could get batteries rated at 4,707 mAh and 5,000 mAh, respectively. Google could market them as 5,000 and 5,100 mAh batteries.

Pixelsnap Wireless Charging For Pixel 10: Finally, Android Gets Its MagSafe Solution (Based On Qi2)

All in all, the Pixel 11 might not get as big an upgrade in battery capacity like other departments, and charging speeds are likely to remain unchanged, with wired charging reaching up to 30W. However, both the regular and the Pro versions should support 15W wireless magnetic charging, what Google calls Pixelsnap charging.

This could be an aspect where, despite its name and reputation, Google could face harsh competition from flagship competitors in India, particularly from smartphone models that offer over 7,000 mAh of battery, providing an actual, usable two-day battery life with a screen-on time of over 12 hours.

Should You Wait For The Pixel 11 In India?

If clean software, best-in-class computational photography, and seven years of guaranteed updates matter more to you than raw charging speeds or guaranteed day-one availability, the Pixel 11 is worth waiting for.

In my opinion, the device could be a perfect upgrade for someone using the Pixel 7 or older handset (even the Pixel 8 would pass), who feels like the performance and battery life are getting worse with each passing day and they need to upgrade. Users of the Galaxy S21 or S22 series looking for a cleaner user interface could also consider the Pixel 11.

Those who prioritize raw performance over everything else shouldn’t wait for the device, in my opinion, like the iQOO 15, the OnePlus 15, the Find X9 series, vivo’s X300 series, or the iPhone 17 series.
