After several leaks and rumors, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has officially launched V20 – its successor to the V10 – in China. This is one of the first few phones with an in-display “Punch hole” cutout for the front camera and a 48MP rear camera. So, it has a distinct look and a good set of cameras (on-paper) to begin with.

This phone’s global variant by the name of View 20 would be launched at an event in Paris scheduled on January 22. So, for now, let’s get into its spec details.

Honor V20: Specs and Features

Like the leaks suggested, the phone has a good pair of cameras. Not that we expected any lesser out of the company behind Mate 20 Pro. The back of the phone sports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor rear camera with a large- 1/2-inch CMOS sensor (0.8-micron pixels) and optimizations (Quad-Bayer array that allows pixel binning) for shooting in low-light conditions. Apart from this, we have a TOF (Time-of-Flight 3D depth sensor) for polished portrait shots. As for your videography, V20 support 960fps slow-mo video recording, with which you can capture some cool slo-mo videos. The fingerprint sensor is also present at the back.

In the front, we have the punch hole cutout of 4.5mm diameter for the front camera, which is a novel touch. It is smaller than the one in Samsung’s A8s. We have a large display of 6.4-inches, 1080 x 2310 pixels with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio.
