What is 2-factor authentication?

2-Step verification or 2-factor authentication is a tool that increases the security of your account and provides an added layer of protection. When you turn on this verification, you will need to complete one more step after entering the password to verify that it is you after signing into your account. Mostly this can be physical security key codes received on phone via SMS, calls or authentication apps. You also have to keep a strong password to make sure your account is safe.
