HP India has unveiled the ultra-slim ProBook 445 G6 from its commercial PC portfolio. The stylish new laptop packs AMD Ryzen’s quad-core performance as well as long battery life within. It is aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs) in India.
HP ProBook 445 G6 highlights
The ProBook has an ultra-slim form factor with a slick and clean aesthetic to it. It sports silver color with an anodized aluminum finish. The borderless display confluences to the bottom with a 180-degree hinge. Hp terms this design as ‘Lay-Flat’ and is targeted to suit the professional environment.

Upfront, you get a borderless 14-inch display with up to full HD resolution. You get to choose up to Windows 10 Pro as the OS.
The laptop is engined by the latest AMD Ryzen 2000 series CPUs. This includes Ryzen 3 2200U, Ryzen 5 2500U or a Ryzen 7 PRO 2700U APU. This is coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM; up to 512GB SSD and up to a 1TB mechanical hard drive.
As for connectivity ports and solutions, HP includes a headphone and microphone combination, 3 USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, HDMI 1.4b, LAN, an SD card reader and a fingerprint sensor as well.
HP backs the Probook with HP Endpoint Security Stack, which includes:
- HP BIOSphere Gen4 that provides automated protection against malware and physical attacks. It also facilitates easy management of updates.
- HP Client Security Manager G4 that gives multi-factor authentication for management of credentials.

Further, you also get a self-healing wireless driver technology called HP Connection Optimizer and HP Fast Charge that claims to refuel up to 50 percent battery in just 30 minutes.
