In an attempt to make its system streamlined when gaining access to hacked accounts, Instagram has added a new feature. Available via Instagram.com/hacked, the new feature lets users gain access to their accounts in case it gets hacked.

Instagram added the feature after receiving reports on cybercriminals luring Instagram users with fake cryptocurrency returns and compromising accounts. With that being said, the Instagram.com/hacked feature lets users get the required support to accounts in case the users are experiencing access issues as well as in case they get hacked. The destination is a one-stop destination and remedies a lot of issues that the users have been facing for ages now.

The feature is useful for those whose accounts get hacked. Additionally, it is for those who use multiple accounts, and losing access to these accounts will be detrimental.

How To Use The Feature To Get Instagram Account Back?

Here’s how you can use Instagram.com/hacked to regain access to such accounts.

Step 01: First up, try to log in to the account of concern.
Step 02: If you aren’t able to do it, go to Instagram.com/hacked on your phone or desktop.
Step 03: You will get options to choose from such as “I forgot my password”, “My account was hacked”, and “Some used my name, photos, or information to create a new account” among others. Choose the appropriate one.
Step 04: A series of on-screen commands will follow that should guide you throughout the process you must follow.

Once the process is successful, you should be able to gain access to your Instagram account with relative ease.

Instagram is working on multiple fronts to fix the account hacking issue. For instance, it is working on automated systems that will automatically flag accounts that go against its Community Guidelines. Apart from that, it will flag accounts that impersonate others. The blue verified badge on accounts will now be available in multiple areas such as DMs, Stories, and even the Feed.
