Leaked M4 MacBook Pro with 16 GB Memory Allegedly Selling on a Private Facebook Group

The rumored M4 MacBook Pro has made waves after being spotted in a private Facebook group, as initially shared by ShrimpApplePro on X. He then quoted that tweet, stating that the box is apparently real and also that the M4 MacBook Pro is already being sold on a private Facebook group.

The leak shows off the box of a 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro featuring a 10-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and a Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology. On the box, we can see that MacBook Pro has the typical ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, HDMI, an SD card slot, and a MagSafe 3 charging port.

The device weighs about 1.6 kg (3.4 pounds), according to the box. The box contents include the MacBook Pro, an adapter, a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable, and the usual documentation.

A notable detail is the “Please recycle this box” message, similar to what Apple has included on its 2024 packaging of iPhones and iPads. This means that the leak is actually true and we are indeed looking at the M4 MacBook Pro retail box.

Oh, and it says 16 GB memory and 512 GB storage in the box. This means that we could finally see 16 GB base memory on the M4 MacBook Pro, although this is just a specification. Oddly enough, Apple is still using the same wallpaper on the M4 MacBook Pro’s packaging.

The M4 MacBook Pro is expected to officially debut in October. The M4 chip has already been seen in the iPad Pro 2024, making this MacBook the second device to feature this new chip. Alongside these, a redesigned M4 Mac Mini might also be on the horizon.
