Chinese tech giant Honor has sent ripples of excitement through the Indian tech community with a teaser that hints at its imminent return. Yes! You read it correctly, the company is ready to make a comeback soon and there are already many rumours about the same. The brand, known for its innovative devices, has teased a “new era of innovation” in a recent post on the X platform (formerly Twitter). The cryptic message has left enthusiasts eagerly awaiting further details and has sparked speculations about Honor’s potential comeback to the Indian market.

Madhav Sheth Honor India Chief?

Amidst the anticipation, the involvement of former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has added an extra layer of intrigue, as his teasing hints at a potential association with Honor. The combination of Honor’s teaser and Sheth’s enigmatic posts has created a buzz of curiosity, setting the stage for an eagerly anticipated reveal.

Earlier it was reported that Honor the sub-brand of Huawei is all set to make its debut in the Indian market and the long wait is going to be over in August. Furthermore, reports also claimed that the company will join hands with its Indian partner PSAV Global for the distribution of its smartphones across the country. The Noida-based distributer has more than 5000 retailers in India across 100 cities.

Amidst the backdrop of the India-China border conflict last year, swirling rumors had suggested that Honor might be making a complete exit from the Indian market. These speculations were, however, quashed by an official spokesperson of the company who refuted the claims. In clear terms, the spokesperson affirmed that Honor was steadfast in its commitment to the Indian market and was actively upholding its operational presence.

“Honor is maintaining business operation(s) in India and will continue its development. The earlier news report that ‘Honor officially announces its exit from the Indian market’ is not correct,” reports quoted Honor spokesperson.

If the news turned out to be true then the company is soon going to introduce a series of smartphones in the Indian market and once again raise the bar or competition. Recently the Chinese smartphone market has launched a foldable smartphone and it’s speculated that the Honor might launch the Magic V2 to take on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
