Microsoft Surface Pro X is an always-connected PC running on an ARM-based SQ2 processor. It can be used as a laptop or a tablet, thanks to a detachable keyboard. It was launched in India coinciding its global debut earlier this month. It is finally available for purchase. But there’s a catch. Here are the details —

Microsoft Surface Pro X Price and Availability

Microsoft is releasing the 2-in-1 pc for commercial buyers only via authorized resellers at the following prices:

  • 256GB storage model costs Rs. 1,49,999
  • 512GB variant is priced at Rs. 1,78,999

While the Surface Pro X is available in Platinum and Black colors, the keyboard is out in Platinum, Ice Blue, and Poppy Red variants.

Microsoft Surface Pro X Specs and Features

The 2-in-1 Pro X sports a 13-inch PixelSense display with a 2,880×1,920 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 10-point multitouch touchscreen. Inside, there’s an SQ2 processor co-developed by Microsoft and Qualcomm. The internals also comprises of Adreno 690 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and Snapdragon X24 LTE modem for 4G connectivity. Speaking of which, you get nanoSIM and eSIM slots.

Among other things, there are things such as WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 sockets and a Surface Connect port. You can attach the keyboard using the pogo-pin connector. Microsoft claims up to 15 hours of battery life from both the storage SKUs.
